The first recipe this week, a red cashew tomato pesto, comes a bit late, Of course, because of Carnival, why else, here in Düsseldorf. This time, we didn’t celebrate carnival in the classic sense, e.g. dressed as Super Mario and Princess Peach. Well, maybe as Super Mario and Princess Peach, but completely incognito in civilian clothes at home in the kitchen by the stove.

Lemon Turmeric Porridge
Porridge is great and very practical, especially if you want to stay full for a long time in the morning. Of course, it’s even more fun when it has a wonderfully bright color, which brightens up your mood and helps waking up at 6 in the morning.
Blood Orange Fennel Salad
Actually a summer dish, but blood oranges are only in season with us here in winter, so what ever 🙂 In summer, you can make the salad with normal oranges. Tastes great, too.

Green Baba Ganoush? Is that possible after all? – I asked myself. Sometimes I just have to do something crazy.

Walnut Oat and Chiabread

Although TLGS was only launched last summer, a bread recipe has long been missing here. Bread is simply the basis for so much and since I have promised you that TLGS will mostly present you with recipes for everyday, it’s high time to write about bread here!
Vegan Chili Cashew Creamcheese
Good morning everyone, now we’re officially back in Germany. I was so used to telling you something about our vacation that when I sat down in front of the empty Word document here, I first didn’t know what to write. As many journalists and writers say, in case such a lack of ideas occurs, you should take a break.
Rice Spaghetti with Vegan Basil Pesto
Good Morning, today I’ll tell you the last part of our diving Holiday in the Philippines. So back to our dive on Christmas Eve, on which it didn’t stop raining and after which I was shaking like an aspen leaf becaus it was awfully cold. Unfortunately, I have to skip what happened exactly after that, because I cannot tell you yet. Big secret so far. But not for long. I’ll be the first to write it down here for you when the time comes.
